David Heinemeier Hansson is responsible for bringing TextMate to market. He has worked closely with Allan Odgaard on deciding features, tweaking behavior, and lately done most of the PR stuff. Including the website, blog, and seeding TextMate to the right people.
David is not a Cocoa programmer himself, but works in Ruby and is responsible for Ruby on Rails, Basecamp, and Instiki.
